Questions You May Have
Here is how we remove a cherry angioma.
At Renu we use thermocoagulation to treat cherry angiomas. This involves using a very fine probe to deliver a controlled heat energy directly into the tiny blood vessels that make up the angioma.
The heat seals the blood vessels, causing the cherry angioma to shrink, darken, crust, and gradually fade as the skin heals.
Treatment is usually quick, with minimal discomfort and little downtime. The area may look slightly red or scabbed afterwards, but this usually settles over the following days to weeks.
