PRP therapy is safe and natural because the procedure concentrates the cells from your own blood directly back into the area where it is needed. Hence is not rejected by your immune system and there are absolutely no chance of getting any  allergy or hypersensitivity. However,  mild redness and bruising can occur which is usually self-limiting.

This will depend upon the health and age of your skin. Normally it is advised to have 2 – 3 treatments 4 to 6 weeks apart.

Platelet Rich Plasma is obtained with a safe blood draw and special centrifugation with a phase separator device that separates the different components concentrating the platelets in a layer called a Buffy coat.

Using either insulin syringe and/or dermaroller, platelet rich plasma is injected into the dermis of skin which starts a natural healing process by stimulating new collagen formation, revascularization and repair. That’s how PRP therapy gradually improves the skin texture and vitality by reducing the wrinkles and fine lines from the face and neck.

There’s slight discomfort for a few minutes during and after the procedure, but nothing significant. If we are using micro needling the areas will be numbed with some topical lidocaine for comfort.
