“Brotox” is a colloquial term used to refer to the use of botulinum toxin (Botox) injections in men. Botox is a neurotoxin that is used in cosmetic procedures to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines by temporarily paralyzing the underlying muscles. It is commonly used to smooth out wrinkles on the forehead, between the eyebrows, and around the eyes.

The term “Brotox” is a play on words, combining “bro,” a slang term for a close male friend, with “Botox.” It reflects the growing trend of men like you seeking cosmetic procedures to enhance your appearance and reduce signs of aging.

Just like with women, men may choose to get Botox injections to achieve a more youthful and refreshed look.

Peri-orbital rejuvenation using dermal fillers  involves the use of injectable fillers to address concerns around the eyes and the surrounding areas. This approach is designed to reduce the appearance of aging, tiredness, and hollowness in the eye area, which is a common concern for both men and women as they age.

The procedure  involves the strategic placement of dermal fillers, such as hyaluronic acid-based fillers, around the eyes to address issues such as:

1. Tear Troughs: Dermal fillers can be used to fill in hollows or depressions beneath the eyes, known as tear troughs, which can create a tired or aged appearance.

2. Under-Eye Bags: Fillers can be used to camouflage or reduce the appearance of under-eye bags by adding volume to the surrounding areas.

3. Hollow Temples: Some men may experience hollowing in the temples, which can be addressed with the use of fillers to restore volume and create a more youthful appearance.

4. Softening of Wrinkles: Fillers can also be used to soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes.

Our goal is to create a refreshed and rejuvenated appearance while maintaining a masculine aesthetic for you.

Jawline contouring and masculinising the male jawline using fillers is a cosmetic procedure aimed at enhancing and defining the jawline. This procedure  involves the use of dermal fillers, which are injected into specific areas of the jawline to create a more angular and chiseled appearance.

The goal of jawline contouring  is to create a stronger, more defined jawline, which is often associated with masculinity and a more youthful appearance. The fillers used in this procedure are  made of hyaluronic acid or other biocompatible materials, and they are injected to add volume, shape, and definition to the jawline.

By strategically placing the fillers along the jawline, we can enhance the angles and contours of your jaw, creating a more masculine and sculpted look. This can help to address concerns such as a weak or undefined jawline, a lack of symmetry, or the appearance of jowls.

Mid face fillers  are a type of cosmetic procedure designed to address volume loss and sagging in the mid-face area, including the cheeks and under-eye area. As you age, they can experience a loss of volume in these areas, which can lead to a sunken or tired appearance. Mid face fillers can help restore a more youthful and refreshed look by adding volume and structure to the mid-face region.

The procedure  involves the injection of dermal fillers, such as hyaluronic acid-based fillers, into specific areas of the mid face to restore volume and contour. These fillers can help to lift the cheeks, reduce the appearance of under-eye hollows, and improve the overall symmetry and balance of the face.

Dermal fillers for lines and folds are a type of cosmetic treatment that can be used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, lines, and folds on the skin. These fillers are  made of hyaluronic acid, which is a substance that occurs naturally in the body and helps to hydrate and add volume to the skin.

For men, dermal fillers can be used to address lines and folds in areas such as the forehead, around the eyes (crow’s feet), between the eyebrows (glabellar lines), and around the mouth (nasolabial folds and marionette lines). The goal of using dermal fillers in these areas is to smooth out the skin and create a more youthful and refreshed appearance.

Upper eyelid surgery for men, also known as upper blepharoplasty, is a cosmetic surgical procedure aimed at addressing issues such as drooping or puffy eyelids. The procedure involves the removal of excess skin, muscle, and fat from the upper eyelids to create a more youthful, alert, and rejuvenated appearance.

Men may opt for upper eyelid surgery for various reasons, including:

1. Correction of drooping eyelids: As individuals age, the skin and muscles of the upper eyelids can lose elasticity, leading to a drooping or hooded appearance. This can sometimes impair vision and create a tired or aged look.

2. Reduction of puffiness: Some men may have excess fat deposits in the upper eyelids, resulting in a puffy or swollen appearance. Upper eyelid surgery can address this issue by removing or redistributing the excess fat.

3. Improvement of facial aesthetics: Upper eyelid surgery can enhance the overall symmetry and balance of the face, helping men achieve a more youthful and refreshed appearance.

The procedure is performed by our  qualified Consultant Ophthalmologist surgeon and involves making discreet incisions along the natural creases of the upper eyelids to minimise visible scarring. After the excess tissue is removed, the incisions are carefully closed, resulting in a more defined eyelid contour.

We specialise in Dermatology

Dermatology is the branch of medicine that deals with the skin, hair, nails, and their associated diseases. Our Dermatology Nurse is specialised in diagnosing and treating conditions related to the skin, including benign growths.

Mole removal is a common procedure performed in our clinic . Moles, also known as nevi, are clusters of pigmented cells that appear as small, dark spots on the skin. While most moles are harmless, some may need to be referred on to our specialists if they exhibit suspicious features or if they cause discomfort.

In addition to mole removal,  Renu Skin Clinic  also address various types of benign skin lesions, which can include:

Skin tags: Small, soft, skin-colored growths that hang off the skin.
Seborrheic keratoses: Non-cancerous, wart-like growths that vary in colour.
Cherry angiomas: Small, red or purple growths made up of tiny blood vessels.
Dermatofibromas: Firm, round, reddish-brown bumps that often develop on the legs.

Our clinic uses various methods to remove these benign lesions, such as radiowave surgery,  cryotherapy (freezing), or thermal vein , depending on the nature and location of the lesion.
