Skin Resurfacing

The Endymed FSR ( Fractional Skin Resurfacing) uses a specialised and advanced, unique radiofrequency technology.The treatment works by producing heat deep within the skin which increases collagen production  while simultaneously treating the upper layers of the skin with  heat spots which produce tissue regeneration.

The deep dermal heating works by triggering a heat response in your skin. This stimulates fibroblasts to produce new collagen. This is what gives you the natural, long-lasting end results in skin tightening. This encourages skin regeneration and repair with fresh, new skin cells. This fractional process is how FSR improves lines and wrinkles, pigmentation, texture and tone.

FSR is able to address various aesthetic needs:

Deep skin rejuvenation. Improving skin texture;

Tackling acne scars and large pores;

Brightening skin. Reducing hyperpigmentation;

Tightening skin. Smoothing wrinkles/lines;

Improving stretch marks;

The skin will be red for several days post procedure. After this the skin will produce micro crusting to the areas that are well tolerated. There is no need to take time off work. The skin will heal over the next few days and make up can be worn.

For optimal results a course of 3 taken 4 weeks apart is best. You can also have a one off session. We advise to repeat a session every 3 months 

The modelling algorithm of the 3DEEP™ multisource RF system continuously monitors the energy flow and hence controls the energy emission, so that the temperature at the fibres at the dermis layer reach the critical temperature of 50°C while maintaining the temperature at the epidermis at 37-38°C. This continuous monitoring will ensure the maximal treatment outcome while providing a comfortable treatment experience.

We do pre numb the areas of the face prior to each session to make the proceure more comfortable.
