A professional skin assessment can identify potential issues early, including suspicious moles or lesions—helping to prevent more serious conditions and supporting long-term skin health and peace of mind.
With a highly trained team specialising in dermatology, you’ll receive accurate diagnoses and safe, effective treatment options.
Regular professional assessments of moles and skin lesions play a vital role in maintaining long-term skin health. By identifying changes early and monitoring high-risk areas over time, we can help you stay proactive, informed, and confident in the health of your skin.
Your consultation begins with a detailed skin examination using dermatoscopy, a magnified imaging technique that allows us to assess any concerns, from moles and skin lesions to acne and rosacea.
We take the time to discuss your skin health, concerns, and goals. You’ll receive clear, professional advice on potential treatment options tailored to your needs.
Based on our findings, we provide a customised treatment plan, whether it’s prescription skincare, non-invasive treatments, or referrals for further investigation if needed.
You’ll receive a detailed breakdown of the recommended treatments, costs, and expected outcomes, ensuring you feel fully informed before making any decisions.
If any suspicious skin changes are detected, we’ll offer guidance on specialist referrals, ensuring you receive the appropriate medical attention for your peace of mind.
Treatments Delivered
You may benefit from a dermatology consultation if you have any skin concern that requires medical assessment, such as moles that have changed in size, shape, or colour, skin lesions that are new, persistent, itchy, bleeding, or growing, lumps or bumps on the face, scalp, or body or concerns about acne, rosacea, thread veins and other dermatological skin conditions.
At Renu Health and Wellness, we carry out a comprehensive clinical assessment of any concerning skin lesion. This includes: A full review of your medical history and skin concerns, Expert dermoscopic examination using magnification, support from the FotoFinder Moleanalyzer Pro system, which uses high-resolution imaging and AI-assisted analysis to help assess risk factors. Part of your consultation is a second opinion report from a dermatologist.
For our Skin Health consultation we use the visia and foto finder analysis
At Renu Health and Wellness, we use the advanced FotoFinder Moleanalyzer Pro system to assess moles and skin lesions with exceptional precision. As part of your consultation , we offer access to the FotoFinder Second Opinion Service.
We send selected dermoscopic image/s to a panel of international dermatology experts and within a few days , we receive their professional feedback and diagnostic guidance. This provides a second opinion from a skin cancer specialist without delay and adds an extra layer of reassurance before any decision is made. It also helps avoid unnecessary removal of benign lesions.
Please note:
The Second Opinion Service is used in combination with a full clinical assessment by our medical team. It does not replace a formal diagnosis, but it offers valuable input to support your care.
If a lesion is considered suspicious, we’ll guide you through the next steps, including referral for further investigation or treatment if necessary.
No, you can book a dermatology consultation directly with us without needing a GP referral.
At Renu Health and Wellness, we offer professional mole assessments using advanced tools such as dermoscopy and the FotoFinder Moleanalyzer Pro to help identify suspicious features.
While we cannot confirm a cancer diagnosis, we can assess whether a mole appears benign or suspicious. If we have any concerns about a lesion, we will explain our findings and refer you to your GP or a private dermatologist for further investigation, biopsy, or specialist care if needed.
We offer several types of dermatology consultations at Renu Health and Wellness, depending on your needs
