-
If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest still applies.
-
Governing law: These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also have the right to bring claims in your local courts where mandatory consumer rules apply.
2) IDENTIFICATION CHECKS
If you purchase a prescription product, we may need to verify your identity to help meet legal, clinical, and anti-fraud requirements.
We may use an identity verification provider to verify:
-
full name
-
date of birth
-
address
If automated verification fails, we may request additional proof (for example a photo ID and a selfie) within [5] days. If we cannot verify identity within that timeframe, we may cancel the order and issue a refund in line with the Service Terms (and any pharmacy terms that apply).
For details on how we handle this information, see our Privacy Policy.
3) ONLINE CONSULTATIONS (Health Questionnaire)
Some services/products require you to complete an online consultation (a health questionnaire).
You agree that:
-
you will answer truthfully and to the best of your knowledge;
-
you will complete the questionnaire yourself, for yourself;
-
if you are unsure about an answer, you will check with your GP or suitable clinician before submitting;
-
independent prescribers/pharmacy partners will rely on your answers to assess suitability and safety.
Providing inaccurate information may put your health at risk and may result in refusal of supply.
4). Informed Consent for Personalised Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT)
Background
Hormone therapy knowledge and guidance can change over time. It’s important you understand potential benefits, limitations, and risks before starting treatment.
Bio-identical hormones are designed to match the chemical structure of hormones produced naturally in the body. Your prescription may be prepared by a specialist compounding pharmacy and tailored to you.
Because compounded preparations are not manufactured as standard licensed “finished products” in the same way as mass-produced medicines, they may be supplied as unlicensed specials or compounded preparations, even where individual active ingredients are licensed.
BHRT may be considered for symptoms associated with perimenopause and menopause (for example hot flushes, sleep disturbance, low mood, vaginal dryness, libido changes), and in some circumstances other hormone-related conditions, based on a clinician’s assessment.
Potential benefits
When hormone levels are treated appropriately, possible benefits may include symptom improvement (for example vasomotor symptoms), improved sleep, mood and quality of life, and protection against bone loss in suitable patients. Outcomes vary and symptom relief is not guaranteed.
BHRT may include one or more of: oestrogens (such as estradiol/estriol), progesterone, testosterone, and/or DHEA — depending on clinical assessment and what is prescribed.
Risks and uncertainties
All hormone therapy carries potential risks and side effects. These may include, depending on your history and what is prescribed:
-
breast tenderness, bleeding changes, mood changes, acne/skin changes, fluid retention;
-
possible effects on breast and endometrial health;
-
cardiovascular risks (such as clot risk) that vary by route of administration and patient risk factors;
-
other rare but serious adverse events (including stroke or heart attack), particularly in higher-risk individuals.
Your overall risk depends on factors including age, time since menopause, personal/family history, BMI, smoking, alcohol intake, and other health conditions. You should discuss your individual risk profile with your prescriber.
Your declaration
By proceeding, you confirm that:
-
you understand treatment benefits cannot be guaranteed;
-
you understand you may be prescribed a compounded/unlicensed preparation;
-
you understand hormone therapy carries risks, including serious risks, and you have had the opportunity to ask questions;
-
you will follow dosing instructions and read any patient information provided;
-
you consent to your prescription being sent to our partner pharmacy for dispensing and delivery, unless otherwise arranged.

-
identity checks (if required);
-
clinical suitability assessment;

a prescription being issued (where appropriate);
-
stock availability and pharmacy acceptance.
5.6 Refunds and cancellations
Because consultations, clinical assessments, and prescription processing involve immediate work, we may not be able to offer cancellations/refunds once an order is submitted, except where required by consumer law.
If you pay for a consultation/assessment and you are not approved for a prescription product, we will refund any amounts paid for products not supplied, minus any non-refundable fees clearly stated at checkout (for example, a consultation/assessment fee), unless otherwise required by law.
For non-prescription goods sold by us, returns/refunds (if offered) are set out at checkout and/or our Returns Policy.
5.7 Subscriptions
If you subscribe to receive repeat prescription products, the subscription:

runs on a [monthly / 3-monthly] billing cycle (as stated at checkout);

renews automatically unless cancelled;

Cancelling: You can cancel through your account or by contacting support.
If you cancel within [72 hours] of your next billing date, we may still process the upcoming payment (to allow pharmacy dispensing already in progress), and cancellation will take effect after that supply cycle.
We may pause or stop a subscription if:
-
prescription review is overdue;
-
we cannot take payment;
-
you do not complete required check-ins;
-
product is unavailable;
-
we believe there is misuse or safety concern;

Nothing limits liability unlawfully. Otherwise, we are liable only for foreseeable losses caused by our breach of these Service Terms.
