Several patients may not be good candidates for the Nefertiti lift. These include those:
Pregnant or Breastfeeding
Myasthenia gravis or Eaton-Lambert syndrome
Infections
Under 18.
Taking any medications or drugs that aren’t compatible with botulinum toxin
Certain psychological conditions
You can expect to feel a small prick when the Botox is injected; although this is more ‘discomfort’ than ‘pain’ as we use a very fine needle.
If required, we can also offer a topical anaesthetic and if necessary.
The area will be cleansed with an antiseptic prior to each injection. The procedure will take no more than 20 min.
Results will begin to take effect from day 2 but can take up to 21 days for the full effect.
Allergan Botox has a known effect to last form 3-4 months. Patient results may vary.
